"The count and the cousin"
How it ends.... (in the eyes of a screen play)
The count enters the room, with ripped clothing on dripping wet, to add effect, and tells the mistress about their relation. When she finds out she is his cousin, the camera zooms in on her face and she screams while starring straight at it. While she is screaming, there is lightening and thunder clashing and flashing in the background. After she hears this terrible news, she slaps him and storms out of the room. She then spends days walking and crying about why she cant be with the one that she is severely in love with. The Count spends this time working out and trying to change him self. He knows he cant change their relation so he does as much alteration to his body as possible, thinking it may help things. When she returns from her voyage, they discuss this problem they have at hand. They come to a conclusion that they can still be lovers, they just have to keep it a secret. So the two lovers run away to a remote island somewhere off the coast of south Africa where they live among a tribe and they swear to never return or have children.

Response to "...Jim"

This story was a bit too sad for me. A man finally telling a woman that he loves her but it being too late. I feel like I have seen this before, its depressing. Their relationship was ever changing, creating a crazy story that you cant seem to look away from. As for the writing, i thought it was good style. To me it was nothing amazing but it kept me reading and in my book, thats good.

Response to Zaragoza

Well, the poems were good. I enjoyed reading them in both languages, it was a fun contrast especially for one that is studying Spanish. I tried doing some research on these poems and i didnt find much. The fifth of may is obviously Cinco de Mayo. A day of celebration in Mexico. The celebration is in response to a fight once battled. I found that there was a General Zaragoza, chances are they are the same. Cool. Good poems though and its a shame i couldn't find more about them.

The Sheriff’s Children was a story with good meaning but it had a slow beginning. This wonderful little story takes place in Branson County, North Carolina, but anyone would find this out by reading the first sentence. The Sheriff of the town had many responsibilities and this changed my opinion on him. At times he was a badass Sheriff, who knew he needed to be rough tough. Other times he had to be a caring man, forced to make a decision. When the Sheriff did wrong, or made a bad decision, it was not easy for him to see that. In a way, the Sheriff was stubborn. When the Sheriff realized what he did wrong, he really took it hard. The Sheriff had a hard time making a difference between his role as a father, and his role as a Sheriff. He needed to focus more on the father role at a time, to help his family. His son was in trouble and if the Sheriff focused more on his role as a father, things could have turned out better. Due to this move he made, my opinion on him was that he needed to get his priorities and value in line. In a way he is not fully matured.
